*I met... ready... a guy!!!* Meg said walking into her apartment and Sara and Tasha screamed.
*A guy?? Damn, is he hot?* Sara asked and Meg laughed and walked into the kitchen to help them get things ready for the party.
*He's hot and famous. And I kinda like him but it sucks cuz he's only in town for a little while.* Meg explained and they both looked at her.
*Famous? How famous?* Tasha asked curiously.
*A Backstreet Boy famous.* Meg said and Sara screamed.
*Holy shit!! Wow that is so cool, I want to meet someone famous.* Sara whined.
*Ew, a Backstreet Boy.* Tasha said disgusted but then just laughed. She wasn't into that kind of music at all, and neither was Meg or Sara really but Tasha despised them with a passion.
*Come on, he's sweet, and beautiful, and sweet! Give him a chance. He's coming to the party tonight.* Meg said grinning from ear to ear and they both congratulated her as they continued to do what needed to be done for that night.
The Party
The phone rang over the loud music at about 9 and Meg went to answer it, leaving the room filled with people and entering the kitchen.
*Hey I just realized, you didn't tell me what apartment you live in.* A familiar voice said and Meg laughed and apologized.
*Where are you?* She asked him and he told her he was right downstairs. Meg gave him her door number and about 3 minutes later he was knocking. *Hey,* Meg greeted him, smiling brightly and then smiling at the other two guys that were with him. *Come here,* Meg said grabbing Sara by the arm and she spun around and stood next to Meg, looking at the three guys. *This is Sara, the birthday girl!* Meg said excitedly.
*Hey, how's it goin?* AJ said shaking her hand and she shook hands with the other two guys. *This is Nick and Brian.* He said. *This is for you... maybe you can sell it or... something.* AJ said jokingly as he handed her a signed picture of him and his four band mates.
*Aww, thank you.* Sara said in a giddy voice and hugged AJ and then Nick and Brian. She took both of them by the hand and guided them into the middle of the party to introduce them to everyone else. Meg walked behind AJ and shut the door and then smiled at him.
*I'm happy you came.* She admitted loudly over the music and he smiled at her.
*Come on...* AJ said taking her hand and pulling her out with all the people. He wrapped his arms around her waist, placing his hands on her hips and Meg put her arms around his neck. They started swaying back and forth to the slow song that the DJ was playing and after about a minute the music sped up.
Sara watched as her best friend Meg and this famous guy, which she was still blown away by, gyrated in the middle of their living room; which was now a dance floor.
*Damn,* Nick said seeing where Sara was watching and they laughed. Brian was surrounded by a group of Sara's friends, which she was ashamed about.
*They are acting like 12 year olds.* Sara said and then she felt Nick walk from behind her and they walked out on to the dance floor together.
*Want a drink?* Meg asked AJ about an hour later, because she was hot from dancing and needed an excuse. AJ accepted and they walked into the kitchen AJ holding on to Meg by her belt loops in her black pants. Meg opened the fridge and sighed. *This air feels really good...* She said and then she laughed as she grinned at AJ. *So what do you want to drink? Beer juice water, milk...* Meg named off as she looked through the fridge.
*Uhm, beer I guess.* AJ said and she handed him a can of Heineken. Meg took a cup and drank some water out of the sink, leaning against the counter and looked at AJ.
At about midnight people were starting to leave because Sara had class the next morning, but Meg and AJ were still slowly swaying to the music coming from the stereo now. They were smiling and laughing as AJ cracked jokes, he liked her smile. Meg, AJ, Nick, and Brian, went downstairs to get ready to leave. AJ kept Meg on her steps as Nick and Brian crossed the street and got into the limo.
*I had a lot of fun. Tell Sara I said happy birthday again.* AJ said, playing with Meg's fingers.
*Will do.* Meg said nodding her head and smiling.
*I have a confession.* AJ said and Meg looked at him with a curious grin.
*You're not married are you?* She asked and he chuckled a little, shaking his head. *Good.* Meg added sighing.
*I don't drink.* AJ said and Meg looked at him for a second.
*Then... why did you have that beer?* She asked him and they both smiled as AJ continued to play with her fingers, moving closer to her.
*I don't know... well this is gonna sound really extremely corny but I didn't want you to think that I was like not a partier. And no fun.* AJ explained and Meg laughed.
*Oh my god that's so sweet.* She said adoringly to him. *But I think you're a lot of fun, and I don't care what you do and don't do. Well ya know what I mean.* She said laughing as she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tight. *That is really sweet though.* She repeated and AJ kissed her cheek. When she let go of the hug, she still had her arms around his neck and he slowly leaned down and kissed her lips. It was gentle and soft, but their lips fit perfectly together and they both felt sparks as their tongues touched. AJ lifted his hands to the sides of her face as she wrapped her arms tighter around his neck.
*So can I call you?* He asked after a few moments of silence after the kiss and Meg started giggling.
*Yeah and...* Meg said stalling as she gripped his shirt and leaned into his ear. *I don't drink either.* She whispered and then kissed his lips quickly as she let go of him and saw his smile. *I'll talk to you tomorrow.* She said as he started to cross the street.
*No, today!* He yelled back as he looked at his watch and she smiled and stood there, watching the limo pull out of the parking spot and drive away and she sighed.

*Dude, she is hot.* Nick said and AJ laughed.
*Yeah and beautiful and sweet and funny and... perfect.* AJ replied and Nick and Brian smiled at him.
*But AJ, you know not to get involved right? I mean I guess it wouldn't matter much except that she goes to college. She won't be able to come with us when we leave and it'll break your heart.* Brian explained and AJ looked at him with a smile.
*I know... but I just feel that it'll work out or maybe not. But I'm happy I met her at least.* AJ expressed and they all laughed.
*Yeah well I'm happy I met Sara.* Nick chimed in.

*Oh my god!!! He is so sweet.* Meg said walking through the door and flopping down on the couch next to Sara on the side of the room.
*Yeah and he's really cute. So are his friends.* Sara said and Meg laughed.
*I know, he kissed me.* She said closing her eyes.
*Nick kissed me.* Sara replied and they both started laughing. They talked for a little while and then went to bed. In the morning Sara had to get up for class early, but Meg didn't have to work until 10. Meg and Sara went to Boston College and had the week off but Sara also was taking an extra class at Northeastern. Meg got up early anyway to go down to Newbury street. She needed to buy a few necessities for dinner. When she got back from the store it was 11 and she started getting ready for work until she noticed that there was a message on her machine. She walked over to it and pressed the blinking red button.
*Uhm hi... this is AJ. I was just calling for Meg so if this is Sara when she gets back can you have her call me? Or Meg, call me!* AJ's voice rang through the silent apartment and then he hung up and Meg laughed. Meg called AJ's cell phone number that he had given her last night.
*Hi, is AJ there?* Meg asked when someone's unfamiliar voice answered the phone.
*One sec.*
*Hello?* AJ asked getting on the phone a couple seconds later.
*Hey, it's Meg. I just got your message.* She said and smiled as though he could see her.
*Yeah, I called early to make sure I didn't miss you but you still weren't home!* AJ exclaimed in a joking tone and Meg laughed.
*I had to go to the store and I'm actually getting ready for work right now.* Meg said as she took off her jeans and put a pair of white khakis on in place of them.
*Oh... so you're naked?* AJ asked and Meg laughed even harder.
*Yeah so what did you want?* She asked and he laughed.
*I just wanted to see if you still wanted to watch that movie at my hotel tonight?* He asked her.
*Ugh! Yeah I do... I just bought a whole bunch of groceries that I don't need. I have to go to work now but I can rent it and be at your hotel by...* Meg said doing the math in her head. *8?* she asked in a question.
*That's fine. And if you want you can bring the food and we can make it here. It'll be interesting.* AJ explained and Meg smiled to herself and said okay. She told him she'd call him after work and get directions to his hotel and then they got off the phone.
