About a Month Later

Everyone was at Meg's and AJ's just hanging out in the living room that night. Howie had taken Tasha out on a few dates but no one really knew if they were together or not and Nick and Gina were not speaking, but Gina seemed to be taking it well. Meg got up to get a drink and stopped when she heard Howie and Tasha talking in the kitchen.

*I love you more then anything Tasha.* Howie said and kissed her softly.

*I love you too...* She replied smiling.

*I'll never hurt you like those other boys did, I respect you and I'm happy you're mine.* He said and Meg smiled, running back into the living room.

*AJ oh my god. Howie loves Tasha.* Meg whispered to him. Everyone else was in their own conversations so no one was really paying attention. *You don't understand, Tasha's been hurt so much in her life and he loves her. You should have heard him, oh my god... I'm so happy.* Meg said hugging him around the neck and AJ laughed at her. *Have you guys ever played the game Snappers?* Meg asked getting everyone's attention and Gina and Tasha raised their hands. *I know you have,* Meg said laughing and everyone else said they hadn't. Meg started the game off and tried to make them understand except Tasha and Gina kept yelling out the answers, making everyone laugh.

*Can I talk to you for a second?* Gina asked, and Meg smiled.

*Okay, Tasha you do it.* Meg said and walked out of the room with Gina, laughing.

*There's this thing I want to show you... I think I'm gonna die.* Gina said and Meg looked at her worriedly.

*What is it?* Meg asked and Gina led her into the bathroom and stood there while Meg looked at the counter.

*What does it say?* Gina asked holding her breath and Meg picked up the pregnancy stick.

*Positive.* Meg said with no emotion and heard Gina let out the breath and saw her start to fall. *Whoa whoa whoa...* Meg said catching her. *AJ?!* She called and AJ came into the bathroom and saw Meg trying to hold Gina up. He took her in his arms easily and looked at Meg and into her hand. *Just take her into the other room.* Meg said chucking the stick into the trash and holding her head. AJ stood there for a minute and then walked out and saw everyone at the door to living room.

*Is she alright?* Tasha asked but AJ didn't answer, he just walked up the stairs and laid her down on the guest bed. Meg was still in the bathroom, sitting on the toilet seat with a few tears running down her cheeks.

*Meg?* Nick asked, walking in the bathroom and Meg looked up at him. *Is everything okay? Is Gina okay?* Nick asked and Meg just stared at him.

*Get out of this house.* She said in a low voice and sniffed as she wiped her cheeks.

*What?* He asked in a confused voice.

*Get out of here!* She yelled again and Nick just looked at her and then turned around and walked to the front door, leaving it open on his way out. She put her head in her hands and then Tasha walked in and shut the door behind her.

*What's going on?* Tasha asked, putting her hand on Meg's back. Meg stood up and hugged Tasha tightly.

*Gina's pregnant...* Meg stated and Tasha just held on to Meg. Everyone left, Howie stayed with Tasha, and after a little while Meg decided she should go check on Gina. Her and Tasha went up stairs, leaving AJ and Howie behind, and into Gina's room.

*Hey girl...* Tasha said walking over to her and Meg just stood at the doorway. *Are you alright?* She asked and Gina nodded.

*Yeah, I just got scared and I couldn't breathe.* Gina explained and Meg smiled at her.

*It's Nick's huh?* Meg asked her and she nodded yes. *Well I kicked him out,* Meg said and Tasha and Gina laughed.

*Yeah, she yelled at him.* Tasha said. Gina got up about an hour later and had some food and then everyone went to sleep. Nothing really changed after that. Meg and Tasha didn't tell anyone except Howie and AJ and all they did was watch out for Gina. They knew it must've been hard for her. Tasha and Gina had found a place to live after about a month and were doing fine.

*AJ, I'm worried about Gina. She says she's fine but I think she's really depressed...* Meg confessed to AJ one day while they were driving.

*Well have you asked her?* AJ said trying to concentrate on the road. *No I know her. She wouldn't tell me if I asked.* Meg said sighing and leaning her head against AJ's shoulder. They were on their way to a party at Brian's.

*Well talk to her when we get there, she'll be there right?* AJ said and Meg nodded. They got to Brian's at around 10 and split up, Meg walking over to her friends and AJ over to his.

*Hey girl.* Meg said to Gina and Gina smiled at her. Meg pulled her into Brian's bedroom and shut the door. *I just want to know how you really are... you don't seem like yourself.* Meg asked, sitting in the chair against the wall.

*What do you mean?* Gina asked and Meg gave her that look like ~you know exactly what I mean.~ *It's just weird for me... I mean I can't tell you. You'll be embarrassed for me and ashamed...* Meg already knew what she was going to say.
*Gina just tell me. I'm your best friend... I won't be ashamed of you.* Meg explained and Gina sat down on the bed, facing Meg.

*I had an abortion.* Gina said as the tears streamed down her face. Meg didn't know what to say, she just got up and sat down next to Gina, hugging her and trying to comfort her. *It was so hard but how could I have had a baby with no father? I can't support a baby...* Gina explained.

*Gina, you don't have to explain it to me. It's alright.* Meg said still hugging her and the two friends sat together for a while, talking aimlessly and hugging each other. They both walked out and were surrounded by loud music and tons of people.

*Hey, I was looking for you... come on.* AJ said taking Meg's hand and Meg looked back, smiling at Gina before she let AJ pull her. *I missed you...* He said as he pulled her to him and ran his hand over her legs and ass. Meg put her arms around his neck and they started to dance closely. Everyone was drinking, including Meg and AJ, and by 1 everyone was a little wilder.

*Mmm.* AJ moaned as he pushed Meg down the back hall and against the wall, kissing her hard. They continued to kiss as AJ walked them both down the hall further, looking for a room. They stopped kissing so AJ could open the door and saw a study and both looked at each other.

*This'll do.* Meg mumbled as she kissed his neck and he laughed and shut the door behind them. AJ pushed her against the wall as they kissed and he ran his hands all over her body.

*You're so warm.* AJ whispered as he slid his hand up her bare leg and under her skirt. He let his other hand entangle in her hair as he pressed his mouth to her's hard and rubbed in between her legs. Meg worked on unbuttoning AJ's pants as he rubbed her and she couldn't help moaning. *Oh!* Meg screamed, him catching her off guard. They went back out to the party and saw Gina and Brian dancing and Meg smiled, forgetting for a while about what just happened.

*That'd be so good for Gina if she got with Brian.* Meg said and AJ pulled her out to dance more.
