By the end of their night, it was actually the morning and AJ was walking her home.

*Nick got arrested.* AJ said as they walked.

*What?!* Meg asked laughing. They were both hyper from the night and very happy.

*Yeah he got in a fight with this chick...* AJ explained roughly and Meg laughed.

*Oh, here is my place.* Meg said stopping him and walking backwards as he laughed.

*You passed your own house?* He asked and she smiled as they walked up the cement steps.

*It's not a house, and you know all these apartments look the same in New York,* Meg explained as she sighed and they walked in and up more stairs. *Oh I forgot, what are you doing in New York anyway?* She asked him as they stopped in front of a door. AJ leaned down and kissed her, putting his hands on the sides of her face.

*Business... I'm gonna be in so much trouble tomorrow.* He said and she giggled as she grabbed his shirt, kissing him back. *Can I come in?* AJ asked sexily and she smiled.

*Not that fast hottie...* Meg said as she kissed him again. They stood outside her door making out for a couple minutes until AJ finally pried himself away from her mouth.

*I'll call you as soon as I can... it might not be for a couple days cuz I'm gonna get yelled at.* He explained and she laughed kissing him again.

*Bye.* She said and he still kissed her as they laughed. *Bye.* She repeated and he kissed her one last time before he ran down the stairs. Meg sighed happily as she unlocked her door and threw her keys on the table running into her room and jumping on the bed.

AJ got back to the hotel he was staying at and when he walked into his room he found all the guys awake and watching TV, obviously waiting for him.

*Hey, nice to see you.* Kevin said sarcastically and AJ smiled.

*Guys... I'm so sorry! I got stuck on the subway for literally 2 hours!* AJ explained and they sighed.

*Oh well,* Nick said and AJ looked at him.

*Hey little buddy, how are ya??* He asked laughing and Nick gave him a dirty look which only made him laugh harder and then the rest of the guys started laughing. *Dude I met the most perfect girl last night. We got stuck together.* AJ explained as he walked over and sat on the couch in between Brian and Kevin. *She's the best... she's a punk not a slut, she's beautiful, she's funny, sweet, she likes cars!!* AJ explained and they all laughed at how excited he was.

Meg had fallen asleep once she got home and was awakened by the phone ringing. She groaned as she looked at the clock and saw that it was only 8. She hadn't even fallen asleep until 5.

*Mmm.* Meg answered the phone as she rubbed her eyes.

*What the hell happened to you last night?!* Her friend Tasha yelled over the phone and Meg groaned.

*Nothing... sorry I got stuck on the subway for fuckin 2 hours.* Meg explained and then smiled as she thought of AJ.

*Why didn't you call? We were worried about you!* Tasha yelled and Meg laughed.

*I'm really sorry.* Meg apologized.

*Well get ready cuz we are coming to get you and bring you out to breakfast.* Tasha said and before Meg could disagree she had already hung up. Meg threw the phone across the room and sat up, rubbing her eyes. She took a shower and was drinking really strong coffee when her friends came.

*Maura's not back yet?* Meg's friend Gina asked. Maura was Meg's roommate but she had gone to study in Europe for a month for college. *Nope.* Meg said. As they left the apartment Meg started talking about AJ, leaving out the part of him being a Backstreet Boy without even realizing it.

*So are you nervous?* Rachel asked Meg as they all ate.

*Nervous about what?* Meg asked.

*About your audition!* Rachel said and Meg's face went blank.

*Holy shit! That's today!!* Meg yelled and then laughed as everyone in the restaurant looked at her.

*Yeah, how could you forget? Remember, it's on your birthday?!?!* Gina said and they laughed.

*I can't believe I forgot. I have to go home right after this and practice.* Meg explained. *This could be it you guys... you know how cool that is?* She said and they all smiled. *This is what I've wanted my whole life.* She explained and then laughed. They finished eating and she thanked them all for taking her out and then she went home and took out her guitar, and started playing. 30 minutes before six o'clock Meg changed and got ready to go. She was wearing black leather pants, a tight white shirt, and a light brown long overcoat with black boots. She put her guitar in its case and left her apartment, scared shitless. As Meg walked down the street all she thought of was AJ and somehow she became less nervous as she thought about AJ getting up on stage and being in front of thousands of people. She knew she could play the guitar for a far lesser audience like the one she would be seeing today. She was auditioning to be the lead guitar in a band that she didnt remember. ~Did Jesse even tell me what band it was?~ Meg thought to herself and then forgot it as quickly as it came. She took a taxi to the recording studio that she knew somewhat well. She had been there a few times to record and things.

*Hi, my name is Meagan Bellmar. I have an appointment with Jesse?* Meg said to the receptionist and the woman smiled at her as she looked it up in her computer.

*Okay, right down the hall. The third door on your right.* She said sweetly and Meg thanked her. Meg walked to the door and sighed as she stood in front of it.

*Don't screw it up.* She told herself as she knocked on the door and waited for someone to tell her it was okay to come in. As she opened the door and shut it behind her she heard a familiar voice.

*Hey Meg, these are the managers of the Backstreet Boys and these are the Boys.* Jesse said and Meg's heart stopped beating for a second. She set her guitar down as she shook hands with the managers of the band and then the guys walked in and AJ stopped short. He just smiled at her... he wasn't sure if it was a good idea to tell them that he knew her. Because that might jeopardize her chances at being their guitarist if they thought that AJ was the only reason she got the interview. The guys all looked at AJ weird because he was staring at her and she laughed a little. She shook hands with them all, feeling a little electricity when she shook AJ's hand and he winked at her.

*Okay Meagan, well if you'd like to sit right there you may. Is that chair okay or would you like something else to sit on?* A man asked her and she smiled.

*No... this is fine.* Meg explained. She took her jacket off, folded it over the chair, and then put her hair up in a messy ponytail. She unzipped her guitar case and sat down, pulling it out and putting the strap over her shoulder. She closed her eyes and sighed before leaning down and plugging everything into the amps and everything else. *Was there anything you wanted me to play?* She asked them timidly as she sighed again. They named a few songs and she smiled. They gave her the music to some of the Backstreet Boy songs and she hummed along with her guitar playing. After that they asked her to just go crazy because they wanted to see how fast she could move her fingers and things so she just did a whole bunch of different notes all together and when she looked up she smiled because they were all looking at her.

*That was quite fast.* One of the men said and then Brian laughed.

*Fast?! That was... really fast!* Brian said and Meg laughed. Meg played one more song and sang along with it.

*That was very nice thank you.* He said as she started to put her guitar away. *Have you ever thought of singing for a profession?* He asked and Meg laughed.

*Not really, it's not what I love. I love the guitar.* She said as she put her jacket back on and took her hair down.

*Well...* One man started.

*Welcome to the band!* Nick butt in as he jumped forward and hugged her and Meg laughed. She looked at the manager for confirmation and he nodded his head yes.

*Yes!* She yelled as she jumped up and AJ walked over to her and hugged her tight as the managers left with Jesse.

*Guys this is the girl I was telling you about... how the hell did you get here?!* AJ asked and she laughed.

*I've had this audition set up for so long... oh my god you don't understand.* She said hugging him again as she clung to his neck. *This is my dream!* Meg exclaimed as she jumped again and AJ laughed along with the other guys as they left.
*That means you're coming on tour with me.* AJ said quietly as he looked at her. They were the only two in the room and they both smiled at each other as AJ leaned in and kissed Meg softly, playing with her hair.

*AJ, I'm so happy.* Meg said as a tear ran down her cheek and he laughed as they walked towards the door holding hands.

*Those boots have got to go.* AJ said looking at her and she laughed as she grabbed her guitar. She got more information from Jesse who told her that she was starting the tour with them in one month and she had to come into the recording studio 4 times a week until then to learn the music and to be brought through the steps of the concert.
