Do I Have To Choose?
Chapter Sixteen
It had been about a month since I had seen AJ, or any of the other guys. Their tour was almost over and they kept promising me they'd come and see me. But I wasn't too sure if I wanted to see AJ. Every time he called me he would tell me that I was still the only girl for him and it tore me apart. I wanted to be with him so bad but it was impossible with him being on tour and living in a totally different state. I wasn't one to trust people easily and plus, I didn't want Brian to hate me for dating AJ. Though, that didn't stop me before. I didn't know what I wanted. The last time I had talked to AJ he told me he was going to see me soon.
*Hello?* I answered as the phone rang.
*Yo baby, guess where I am?* AJ asked me and I laughed.
*I don't know...* I said smiling.
*You're front yard.* He said and I busted out.
*Don't tease me like that. Where are you really?* I asked.
*Come to your front window.* He said and I walked to it, seeing him behind the steel gates. *I can see you!* He said excitedly. I hung up the phone laughing and pressed the button to open the gates to my house. He hopped in the car and I could see the other guys there too. I walked out through my front door and waited for them to get out.
*Hey,* I said smiling as they all stepped out of the car. *I thought you still had another month left on the tour?* I asked and they all looked at AJ.
*Well I had to lie. I wanted to surprise you!* He said smiling as I smacked his arm. I invited them all inside and we walked into my pool house, in the back of my house. We hung out and talked a lot.
*Where's Nikki?* I asked Kevin.
*She's not here.* He said sulkily but in a joking kind of way. *She's with her family.*
*Oh but you guys are still together?* I asked him and he smiled nodding yes. There was a loud clunk and I jumped up.
*Uh oh.* I said and ran out of the pool house and into my house through the back door. I walked into the laundry room and the washer was shaking all over the place and soap and water was all over the floor.
*What's wrong?* I heard AJ yell over the noise as he ran into the room and slipped, pulling me on to the floor with him.
*Oh my god!* I yelled and we started laughing as we both got soaking wet and were covered in suds. AJ picked some up and shoved them in my face and I did the same right back to him. Things got a little more serious and he leaned in and kissed my lips softly. We kissed for a few seconds until I reached my hand behind me and pulled away quickly, splashing him with the water. The rest of the guys came in and it was like dominos, they went down one by one. We all wrestled and got soaking wet until Paul came into the room, the butler, and told us all we had to leave so he could clean up the mess.
*I'm sorry,* I said sympathetically with a huge smile on my face as the guys walked out of the room.
*Don't worry about it.* He said smiling and I met all the other guys in the dining room.
*Follow me, my dad will kill me if we are all walking around here soaking wet.* I said laughing a little bit to myself and I looked over at AJ. He smiled at me and winked and I just blushed. Luckily the guys had their bags in the car so we got those and went up to my room. *You can change and I'll wait out here, and change after you.* I said to them all and they walked into my room and about 6 minutes later they came out.
*Finally!* I said sarcastically and walked into my room. I changed into some baggy pants and a t-shirt and put my hair into a ponytail because I didn't feel like brushing it. *I'm the girl and I took less time then you did. Come on guys.* I said as I walked out and they started defending themselves.
*Listen, it's 5 to 1 here. I suggest you watch your mouth young lady.* Howie said and I laughed.
*Was that a threat?*
*You god damn right it was!* AJ yelled and I started laughing so hard that I almost fell over and I had to grab the wall. It started to rain so we all hung out in the lounge and watched movies and played Nintendo.
*Meg! Don't you have anything besides Nintendo?* Nick asked me, with obvious annoyance in his voice.
*No Nick, I'm not like you. I don't know how to play those other games, I like-- I just killed you!* I yelled as I jumped up and down on my butt. The other guys were sitting on the couches while Nick and I were playing Nintendo on the floor.
*You guys are so little.* Kevin said laughing at us. After that Kevin, Howie, and Brian decided to leave and AJ and Nick were going to hang out for a little longer.
*Wow, it's getting really bad out there.* I said looking at the rain as we watched the car drive away.
*Yep,* AJ said and I could feel his eyes on me.
*What do you guys want to do?* Nick asked us and we both smiled at him.
*We can play a game or watch a movie.* I suggested.
*Do you have monopoly??* Nick asked me and I laughed, nodding my head yes. The three of us went up to my room and set up the game and started playing for about 20 minutes. *Guys, I'm hungry. I'm gonna go raid your kitchen Meg.* Nick said standing up from off the floor.
*Get me something!* I yelled after him as he walked out my door. *He's a goofball.* I said smiling at AJ. *You're a bigger goofball though.* I said jumping on him and tickling his sides. He easily turned me on my back and was tickling me before I was able to give up. I reached down and pinched his knee, making him lose his balance and fall on me. He put his hand on my face and his other hand on my side, rubbing my back with his fingers. I thought he was going to just stay like that so I leaned up and kissed him passionately. After our kiss we stood up and he kissed me again, pushing me back to the bed. He walked quickly over to the door and shut it, locking it behind him and I laughed at him.
*Nick will live.* AJ said pushing me back on to my bed and lying on top of me, kissing me again and I giggled a little bit. We undressed each other and made love.
*Guys! I have food!* Nick yelled right in the middle and we both started cracking up. We ignored him and then got dressed and AJ got the door while I sat on the floor near the game again.
*Hey, sorry.* AJ said as Nick walked through.
*Eww gross, that is sick!* Nick yelled and I smiled at him.
*What are you talking about?* I asked him.
*Please! I am not stupid! You're both glowing... if you're gonna have sex you should at least do it when no one is around.* He said and we all started laughing and continued to play the game.
*Hey guys! I don't think you're going to be able to go home.* I yelled to AJ and Nick from the kitchen and they walked in.
*What do you mean?* AJ asked and I turned up the radio.
*We know it's been wet outside but it's only going to get worse... winds will be rising to 60 MPH and we suggest that you stay in until this is over. Sagamore Bridge has been shut down--*
*Damn that sucks, even if you wanted to leave you couldn't.* I said to them smiling.
*I don't want to leave anyway.* AJ said walking up to me and I smiled at him and then looked over his shoulder at Nick. I blushed slightly and buried my face in AJ's shoulder as Nick smirked at us. We started to watch a movie but when Nick didn't join us after about 20 minutes we realized he must have fallen asleep playing Nintendo.
*So where is your dad and sisters?* AJ asked finally realizing they weren't here.
*They were at dinner with my dad's new girlfriend now they won't be home at all.* I said sighing.
*Why didn't you go?* AJ asked.
*I don't like her much...* I said smiling at him weakly. *I don't really want or need a new mom.* I added and he kissed my hand and then hugged me tightly. *AJ I want to be with you, but I'm afraid that it won't work.* I said to him, looking into his eyes.
*Why?* He asked me.
*Because you can't stay here forever and I don't want my boyfriend to live in another state, and never have time for me...* I explained and AJ agreed.
*I know what you mean, I've been turned down a lot for that reason but Meg, I love you. You're different and well... why don't you move with me?* AJ asked and I looked up at him surprised. *You could go to school down there or just live with me and when I go on tour you can come again.* He explained and I straddled his lap, kissing his lips softly.
*You mean that or are you letting AJ Jr. decide that for you instead of your mind?* I asked him and he chuckled a little bit.
*I'm serious, I want to be with you Meagan.* He said kissing my lips softly and I kissed him back.
*Okay, I have to talk to my dad about it.* I said. *But I'd love to live with you.* I added and he smiled.
*I love you Meagan.* AJ said and I smiled at him as he kissed my neck softly.
*I love you too.*
