Chapter Thirteen

*Alright let's go.* I said smiling and we both walked out of the room, and downstairs to the lobby to get a movie. *Lord I was born a ramblin man.* I sang to myself and Brian started cracking up. *Don't laugh at me!* I yelled at him as I hit him and he just laughed harder.
*Alright, what do you want to get?* He asked me, as we looked at all the movies. We decided to get Scary Movie and we walked back up to the room.

*Oh! Shut your eyes.* I said covering his eyes with my hand as that girl was running through the water in her bra and panties.
*That's okay, I only want to see you anyway.* He said I just smiled at him.
*Shut up.* I said jokingly and he smiled at me. I laid down on his lap and we watched the rest of the movie, laughing through the whole thing. After that movie we ate some food and then put Conspiracy Theory on. We both fell asleep at the end of the movie on the couch. We were both lying down; I was in front of Brian and accidentally his hand was resting on my waist. When we both woke up Brian decided he should get back to his room.
*Thanks for keeping me company.* He said to me at the door of mine and AJ's room.
*No problem.* I said smiling and nudging his shoulder. *I'm glad we're still friends.* I added and he hugged me tightly and then left. When I walked into the small kitchen I couldn't miss the note that was on the fridge.

*Damn...* I said sighing. I grabbed my jacket and walked down to the lobby. *Oh hey Nick, do you know where AJ went?* I asked him as I bumped into him.
*Well... I'm not supposed to tell. I think he's kind of mad at you.* Nick said and I shrugged my shoulders.
*Yeah yeah, I know, but it's not what he thinks. I need to talk to him, pleeeease?* I begged and he finally cracked.
*Fine, he went to that park a couple blocks down the road, you know...* His words faded as I was walking away, thanking him from over my shoulder. I got a cab and got dropped off at the park. As soon as I got out I zipped up my jacket, it was really cold out. I was looking all over the place until I found a little pond thing that was frozen over. I saw AJ sitting on a bench right by the ice so I walked over to him.
*Hey baby,* I said softly as I put my hand on his shoulder. He didn't turn around; just put his hand over mine and kissed my fingers. *I'm sorry about earlier.* I apologized.
*It doesn't matter, I know you won't cheat on me, I'm just afraid of losing you.* AJ explained still not looking at me as I sat down next to him.
*You're right, I won't cheat on you. I love you Alexander.* I said kissing his cheek. *I really love you and I want to be with you and... I just love you.* I said smiling and he smiled up at me, the first time he looked in my eyes while I was there. I kissed his lips softly and then he reached into his pocket and pulled out a box. He handed it to me and I just looked at him.
*It's your early Christmas present.* He said looking from the box to me. I smiled as I opened it slowly. My breath caught in my throat as I looked at the beautiful ring. *I just want you to know that after you leave you're still gonna be my only girl, woman,* He corrected himself. *Look,* He said as he took the ring out of the box. He lifted it up and held it sideways, and I could read the words ~Love always and forever~. I started to cry softly and he just held me close to him.
*I want to be with you for the rest of my life and I know it's early in the relationship but I just feel so strongly for you.* He said and I cried harder.
*You're not helping me to stop crying.* I said laughing a little bit and I wiped my eyes on his shoulder.
*I love you baby.* He whispered and I sniffed, kissing him softly. *Let's go.* He said and we started to walk towards the street, holding hands. *Wait,* He said as he pulled me back from the side of the street.
*What?* I asked smiling.
*I think we should stay here a little longer.* AJ said smiling at me and I just agreed.
*How can I say no to those eyes?* I asked as we walked up to the grass under a tree. *It's really cold.* I said as I shivered and we sat down together, me in his lap and his arms around me.
*I just want to sit with you for a while.* AJ whispered in my ear and then started to suck on my ear and my neck. I turned around and we kissed passionately. AJ started to take my jacket off and I stopped him.
*It is way too cold out here.* I said smiling at him. *Let's go back to the hotel.* I whispered in his ear as I started to grind against his lap. He groaned but agreed and we got a cab and went back to the hotel. The whole way back we were kissing and he was feeling me up, he obviously didn't care about the driver being able to see us. When we got there he almost forgot to pay the cabby, and we walked quickly up to our room. I waited patiently while he tried to use his key to open the door but he couldn't and he was getting frustrated.
*Here,* I said laughing and held out my hand for him to place the key in. I gently slid it in and the door unlocked. I just laughed even harder as I walked in and placed the key on the counter. I felt him behind me and my laughter came to a stop when he placed his hands on my breasts and started to suck on my neck. I turned around and I took his shirt off, running my hands down his hard stomach and sides. He kissed me again hungrily and pushed me on to the couch, climbing on top of me.
~Knock Knock~ *Ugh, what??* AJ called still on top of me as I smiled at him.
*I need to talk to you for a second.* Kevin called from outside of the door.
*Can it wait?* AJ asked kissing my lips again.
*Not really.* Kevin said and AJ got off of me, pinching my knee as he walked to the door. After he opened it he put his shirt back on and Kevin just stared at him. *Am I interrupting something?* He asked smirking.
*Yeah actually, so what's up?* AJ asked, his anxiousness obvious.
*I think you should know that--.* Kevin started but I couldn't hear the rest of his sentence because he lowered his voice. I sat up and crossed my legs on the couch and waited for AJ to come back.
*Hey,* I said as I saw him walk back in.
*I hate to do this but I really need to go somewhere right now.* AJ said and the look of disappointment on my face must've been obvious because he came and stood me up, hugging me.
*Where?* I asked him.
*Well Kev just told me that Marissa is here.* AJ said I looked at him.
*Who's that?* I asked him backing up. *Don't tell me you're engaged too?* I said and he laughed.
*No no no, she's my ex though...* AJ said. *I don't know why she's here, the last time we talked she hated me.* He said sighing.
*Oh,* I said and sat down. *Well whatever, I'll be here when you get back.* I added sitting down on the couch.
*Thank you baby, it shouldn't take too long.* He said leaning down to kiss me. He changed his clothes and then left. *Oh yeah,* He said opening the door a couple seconds after he left. *I love you.*
*I love you too.* I called and then I heard the door shut and I sighed. *God this is just what I need, an ex girlfriend in town.* I said to myself out loud and then I fell back on the couch.
