*I like you.* He said and I laughed at him.
*Yeah... well I like you too, but you can't go around kissing whoever you like.* I said to him and he smiled at me.
*Watch me.* He replied and quickly swept me into his embrace, kissing my lips softly for a few seconds. Then he placed his hand on the back of my neck and made the kiss deeper, pushing his tongue into my mouth. I moaned softly, this was one of those kisses that you're not expecting and when it happens it's like nothing else matters, as long as that kiss never ends. But eventually he pulled away from me and ran his fingers through my hair one last time before sitting back in his seat.
*Wow...* I said quietly to myself and he laughed a little. *You still shouldn't have--.* He cut me off with another small kiss and then pulled back a little bit, looking into my eyes again.
*You're so cute.* He smiled as he rubbed his nose against mine and I smiled at him.
*What if somebody sees you?* I whispered to him and he sat back.
*Don't worry the only people I'm ever going to see again are the guys and they wont rat me out.* Brian said and I looked at him.
*Alright...* I said reluctantly and he took my hand. Soon after that I fell asleep with my head on his lap until we got there.
*Meagan?* I heard someone whisper to me and I stirred a little in Brian's lap. *We're here.* I rubbed my eyes and looked up at the smiling eyes I could feel staring at me.
*Oh.* I said smiling and sat up. *Where exactly is here anyway?* I asked as I stood up to get my bag from above the seats.
*New York.* Brian said and I smiled at him as he stood up next to me. We both walked off of the plane and met everyone else.
*Meg??* I heard someone say and I turned around to see who it was. I saw a familiar looking girl running towards me and I finally realized whom it was.
*Nikki.* I smiled and she gave me a hug.
*How are you?* She asked excitedly. *Never mind, what are you doing here??* She asked again before I could answer the first question.
*Haha, I'm on the tour... I guess my dad wanted me here to keep you company and it's kind of a birthday present.* I said and she screamed. *That's great.* She said hugging me again and I laughed at her. *Hi...* She said finally realizing that all the guys were looking at her. They smiled at her and said hello, she had already met all of them. She pulled me ahead of the group as we walked to the cars in front of the airport and talked to me about how I am and crap. We both decided that whatever we had fought about was nonsense and we were going to be great friends on the tour. Me, Nikki, AJ, Kevin and some manager guy were going in one car and the rest in the other. Before we got in Brian grabbed my hand.
*Hi.* I said as I almost fell because he pulled me so suddenly.
*I just wanted to say that I'll see you at the hotel... I wish I was going in your car.* He whispered. He pulled me in for a hug, trying to make it look like a just friends kind of hug. *I want to kiss you.* He whispered and then pulled away and walked to his car. When I got into my car Nikki had started talking to Kevin on one side of the limo so I sat in the other seat next to AJ.
*Come on girl! Spill it.* AJ said and I laughed at him.
*You sound like a girl.* I said and he pouted.
*Stop trying to change the subject. I saw you and Brian just now AND I saw you both on the plane.* AJ said and I smiled at him.
*Yeah well... he kissed me...* I said and he could tell something was wrong.
*Okay listen, if this is about Leigh Anne... well don't worry about her. Nobody likes her and yeah, it's a bad thing that he kissed you while being engaged but I mean come on, it is so obvious that she is not the one for him.* AJ said and I smiled at him leaning my head on his shoulder.
*Yeah but I just feel like a bad person... I shouldn't have kissed him.* I said sighing.
*Yes you should have!* AJ yelled and when Kevin and Nikki looked over at us he lowered his voice. *Well whatever happens, you can talk to me about it baby.* He added kissing my head and I smiled up at him.
At the Hotel
Nikki's management had decided that we should share a room so her and me walked up to the floor that had been reserved just for the Backstreet Boy people and into our room.
*Oh my god.* I said as I dropped my bags. Nikki followed, lugging all her bags behind her and I had to laugh at her. *Look at this place.* I said walking into the huge living room. We both looked around for a while and then started to unpack. Since this was the first tour date they were doing a couple shows and we were staying in New York for about a week.
*I have to go rehearse in like an hour already!* Nikki said and I smiled at her.
*Oh, well I'll probably just stay here and check out the hotel. You know, cause some trouble.* I said and she laughed.
*God, I missed you.* Nikki said pushing me on the bed and tackling me. We both laughed until she finally got a call saying that she had to be downstairs in 30 minutes. *God dammit, this is going to be so much fun!* She said with a fake smile and I laughed. She walked into the bathroom to take a shower and I decided to raid the kitchen. Just as I started to poke through the fridge there was a knock on the door so I grabbed a water and walked to the door.
*Brian.* I said smiling.
*Can I come in?* He asked looking down the hall and I smiled as I let him enter.
*What's up?* I asked him as I sat on the couch. He walked over and bent down, kissing me and pulling me up to stand with him. I let out a small moan as I pulled away. He tried to kiss me again and I just turned my head.
*What's wrong?* He asked me and I looked at him.
*Your eyes are hypnotizing, you know that?* I asked sighing, as I sat on the couch. *Anyway, we can't be doing this.* I said and he sat next to me.
*I'm sorry, I didn't mean to rush into this.* He said and I laughed at him.
*Okay, we've known each other for like two days, calm down.* I said. *That's not what I meant, I meant that you have a fiancée and this is technically cheating.* I explained and he just stared at me.
*Yeah you're right.* He said standing up. I stood up with him.
*I know that you're probably just scared to get married and you're looking for a way out but I'm not that way.* I said smiling. *And I don't hold any grudges... I mean can't we just start over?* I asked and he looked at me. There was a silence for a while between us.
*Alright, clean slate. You're right I just need to think things through before I go kissing complete strangers.* Brian said and I smiled at him. *I better go then.* He said and I leaned over to him. I kissed his cheek and then hugged him around the neck.
*I'll be at your concert tonight.* I said smiling and he smiled back at me. He walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him and I thought that was it. I helped Nikki get ready for rehearsal and then I decided to walk around the hotel and check things out. I was walking down the hall towards the elevator when someone called my name.
*Oh hey Nick.* I said and he smiled to me as he jogged towards to me.
*Hi. What are you doing?* He asked as we walked towards the elevator.
*Nothing, I thought you had rehearsal?* I asked curiously.
*Nope, just Nikki. She needs to get a feel for the stage.* Nick said smiling. *Not the Backstreet Boys. We know everything!* He said in a macho voice and I laughed at him. We walked on to the elevator and decided to go all the way to the top floor.
