Chapter Nine
They told me I had to sleep there over night and if I was feeling fine that I could go home in the morning. AJ decided to stay with me, even though I told him to go home. As I lay in my hospital bed I sat up staring at him. He looked so worried and stressed but cute at the same time. He was in a chair with his head resting against the wall on his arm... I couldn't help but think that I had ruined his life... I mean if I had never walked into that house none of this would have happened. Granted, he would probably still be abusive and a kidnapper but maybe that was better for him. Now I was all he had and he was all I had. I knew that we were going to have to get out of here after I got out of the hospital or they would find us, I knew it. I sighed out loud as I stared at him with a million thoughts running through my head and I finally fell asleep. I woke up to AJ calling my name.
*Meg, baby, are you alright? Do you want to get out of here?* He asked sitting next to me. I sat up and smiled, rubbing my eyes.
*Yeah,* I said sighing. I stood up with his help and he had the nurse come in and give me my clothes. I changed and then we signed some papers and they let me leave with AJ. *AJ... what are we going to do?* I asked him as I linked my arm with his as we walked down the hall.
*I don't know,* He said sighing and rubbing his face. *I have no idea.* He mumbled and I stopped him and pulled his hand away from his face.
*I don't know either but let's just do what's right...* I said kissing his lips softly. *I love you, I'll go anywhere with you.* I said with my eyes shut and my forehead against his.
*I love you too.* He whispered kissing my nose lightly and then he pulled me into his arms and held me for a few minutes. *Let's get outta here.* He said and we walked out and got into his car. AJ drove me to my house and I introduced him to my family. When they asked about the bruises on my face I didn't know what to say. I told them that I got in a car accident but that I was fine now and I just got out of the hospital. Of course after that they pampered me and AJ. I told them that I was leaving for a while and packed some of my clothes.
*I promise I will call.* I told my mom. *I just hafta play it safe for a while.* I explained.
*I don't understand why though.* My mom said and I sighed.
*I don't want to get you involved, I'll explain it when it's over with.* I said hugging her. AJ and me got back into his car and he just started driving.
*So... where are we gonna go?* AJ asked sighing as I stared out the window. *I mean, we can't go anywhere that they'll know I will go to and sooner or later they'll find out everywhere you would be.* He explained.
*Let's just think, just keep driving while we think.* I said in a soothing voice as I rubbed his back. *I love you.*
*I love you.* AJ replied leaning over to kiss me quickly. *Okay, we'll just go to the bank. I have money saved that we can use...*
*No, I'm not letting you waste money,* I argued.
*It's not wasting, I want to start a new life with you Meg... let's go to Florida, I've always wanted to live there.* AJ said and I looked at him. *AJ are you sure? That's a big step... it's like moving in with each other but even bigger.* I explained and he laughed.
*Well I know that right now I want to be with you so let's do it.* He said. I hugged him around the neck and rested my head on his shoulder as he drove. We got his and my money out of the bank and then stopped at a little diner to talk things over.
*Okay this is a lot more complicated then it seems,* AJ said. *You know that I have enough money here to last us a friggin life time, you didn't have to take your money out of the bank.* He explained.
*Yeah but that's not fair for me to be totally dependant on you,* I replied and he sighed.
*Well whatever, what we need to figure out is if we should drive down or take a plane?* AJ asked and I just shrugged my shoulders. *Because if we take a plane we have to have my car towed down and there's a risk of Nick finding out or some shit...* AJ explained and I smiled at him.
*I love you...* I said and he laughed. *Anyway, it's your car, let's do what you want.* I said kissing his cheek and sliding my leg over his under the table. I put my hand on his chest under his shirt and ran my fingers across his muscles.
*Well I think we could probably take a plane, kay?* AJ said.
*Whatever,* I said smiling as I kissed his neck.
*Baby, there are people here.* He whispered smiling.
*Well then let's leave.* I said against his warm skin.
*Check!* He called and I started cracking up. We drove over to a hotel and checked in, we didn't really care if it was nice or not, it was only for one night.
*Mmm.* I moaned as I kissed his lips.
*What's into you?* AJ asked and I smiled as I pulled his shirt off and we climbed on to the bed.
*I don't know,* I mumbled as I kissed down his neck and chest.
*Girl, you're so sexy.* AJ said as he rolled on top of me, kissing me as he pulled my clothing off. I took his pants and boxers off and then he handed me the condom. I kissed him as my hand ran over his dick, slipping the condom on. He groaned and then slipped his dick in me once without warning and I gasped. Then he pulled out and kissed my nipple and then down. He started to eat me out as I moaned his name. *Ugh, baby, you're making me so horny just moaning.* AJ said as he kissed the insides of my thighs. *AJ,* I said rolling over and kissing his lips. *I love you too and I know this is gonna work out.* I said and he smiled and kissed me softly. We fell asleep shortly after and the next morning I woke up and AJ wasn't in bed. I heard his voice and I walked into the kitchen and saw him on the phone. I went over to him and wrapped my arms around his bare chest and he kissed my head.
*Yeah, 2... only one way... anywhere in florida... for today? Great, okay we'll pick them up at the airport... thanks, bye.* AJ said and then hung up. He smiled down at me and kissed me softly. *You better take a shower cuz we have to be at the airport in an hour,* He said and I smiled and kissed him once before walking into the bathroom. He had already showered so I just got ready and we packed up our stuff, checked out of the hotel, and drove to the airport.
*Yeah hi, McLean, I'm here to pick up 2 tickets to Florida.* AJ said to the lady at the desk. He showed her I.D. and she handed us the tickets. We walked to the gate and when we got there our plane was already boarding.
*Did you talk to someone about your car?* I asked him as we were waiting for the plane to take off.
*Nah...* He said smiling. *I sold it this morning,*
*Well, you did a lot this morning.* I said smiling.
*Yeah, well I figured we're starting over so everything should be new.* AJ explained and I smiled at him.
*I wish I was as rich as you, just sell my car whenever I wanted.* I said and he smiled at me. *What?* I asked as he stared at me.
*You are as rich as me... in fact you have all of my money,* AJ said as he pulled me in for a hug. *And my heart.*
*I'm just so scared...* I said sighing and he pulled back and looked into my eyes.
*I'm not gonna let anything happen to you... I wouldn't be able to watch you go through everything you went through before... I love you with all of my heart and I'd do anything for you baby... you don't have to be scared.* As AJ said these soothing words to me the plane was taking off and all I could think of was that we were okay and together. I kissed him as a tear slid down my cheek and he wiped it off, kissed my nose. *Relax...* He said as he sat back.
