Chapter Three
The next day Meg got to go back to AJ's. They walked into the living room and sat on the couch together.
*I'm really tired... I'm just gonna go to bed.* Meg said standing up.
*Are you alright? Do you need help?* AJ asked standing up with her.

*Hey,* He said.
*Did I wake you up?* Meg asked.
*No, I can't sleep.* AJ said turning the light on and sitting up.
*Me either... I keep waking up.* Meg replied sighing. After a couple of minutes of silence AJ felt Meg grab his shirt and bury her face in it. *I'm so scared AJ.* Meg whispered, crying really hard against his chest. *I don't know if I can do this.* She said. *I always took everything for granted and now I'm paying for it.* Meg said trying to catch her breath in between her sobs.
*Don't ever say that. Meagan you're a wonderful person and you're not paying for anything. This isn't your fault and I don't know why it's happening but it's gonna be okay. I'm gonna be here for you.* AJ said playing with her hair.
*No it's not AJ... He said I only have a month. How could my life slip away so fast?* She asked through tear-filled eyes. AJ just sighed, not knowing what to say. About a Month Later
Meg woke up that morning feeling very good. She reached over but AJ wasn't there. She always ended up in his bed because she could never sleep. *I have to go take a shower now.* Meg said standing up.
*Are you gonna be okay or do you need help?* AJ asked caringly.
*No, I'll be fine.* Meg replied.
*You sure?* AJ said grinning.
*Well come to think of it, my stomach might start hurting again.* Meg replied grabbing AJ and pulling him into the bathroom with her. AJ started the shower and undressed Meg and then himself and they both got in.
