Meg walked upstairs and checked on Alex, he was still sleeping soundly so she walked into their huge bathroom and turned on the Jacuzzi. She sighed before slipping out of her clothes and putting her hair up. She laid down in the huge tub and rested her head back. She had been so busy with Alex and even AJ, she thought, that she hadn't had time to really relax. She was drifting off when the phone rang and she jumped and then reached for the phone to answer it.
*Hey,* A familiar voice said and Meg sat straight up with wide eyes.
*Chris?? How did you get this number?* Meg asked and could tell he was smiling.
*From your mom. Anyway, how are you? We haven't really talked since... well you know.* He said.
*Yeah I know.* She said replaying the time when she found out he had cheated on her and she was with AJ. *But I'm fine. How are you?* She asked. She figured it had been a long time since that had happened and there was no point in having hard feelings against him, that would just make her a bitch and make him think she still cared for him, which she didn't.

*Nope, I live in Florida now. In Kissimmee.* He said.

*Hey,* Chris said taking her in for a hug and Meg laughed nervously. *Wow you look... wow.* He said holding her hand and standing in front of her.
*Thanks,* Meg said. She remembered as she looked at him the way she felt when he cheated on her and she knew even if she were single she'd never take him back. *Come in.* She said and he walked through the doorway.
*Damn, big enough house?* Chris said as he looked around while Meg shut the door.
*Yeah, but it gets kinda lonely.* Meg said fidgeting with her fingers. *Want a drink?*
*Sure, whatever you have is good.* Chris replied sitting on the couch. Meg walked into the kitchen thinking about how pissed AJ would be if he found out Chris was there. Especially since he was there and saw how hurt Meagan was when she found out what Chris had done. Meg got them both a beer and walked into the living room and saw Chris looking at some pictures on the mantle.
*AJ McLean huh?* Chris said still looking at the pictures. *What is he, a Backstreet Boy? No wonder your house is so big.* Chris said in good spirits as he turned around and smiled at Meg. *Alex is adorable, he has your smile.* Chris said sitting down next to Meg on the couch and Meg thought about how AJ always tells her that her smile is what he loves the most about her. They talked for a while about everything. Meg knocked some papers off the table and they both bent down to pick them up. Their eyes met and Chris held her hand as they both sat back up, never breaking the gaze. Chris brushed the side of her cheek with his hand and leaned down. Their lips were almost touching when Meg pulled away quickly. She knew she wouldn't have kissed him but because of AJ it gave her an ever bigger reason not to.
*I can't, I'm sorry.* She said looking at him and being confident. Chris sighed, not knowing what to say. *It's getting late maybe you should go.* Meg suggested. ~Yeah it's getting weird too.~ She said to herself.
*Yeah, but promise you'll keep in touch.* Chris said as they walked to the door.
*I promise.* She said and Chris kissed her cheek and then left and about an hour later AJ came home.
*Hey baby,* He said yawning and sitting on the couch next to Meg.
*Hi,* She said running her fingers over his arm, aimlessly. *Have fun?* *Hell yeah!* He said and Meg had to laugh at his enthusiasm. *What did you do?* He asked settling down and pulling her close against his chest.
*Actually, an old friend stopped by. Well I don't think you could call him a friend.* Meg said and AJ pulled back a little and stood up.
*Him?* He questioned.
*AJ, you've always been too jealous. He's just a friend.* Meg said standing up beside him.
*Who was it? Do I know him? Have I met him?* AJ questioned again getting a little frustrated that Meg wouldn't tell him.
*Well you haven't really met him...* Meg said trailing off.
*Who?!* AJ yelled finally.
*AJ, be quiet. Alex is sleeping.* Meg said, putting her hands over his.
*Please just tell me.* AJ begged, his harsh tone now sounding more sympathetic. Meg looked into his chocolate brown eyes and just smiled at him.
*AJ I love you. No one else...* Meg said squeezing his hands lovingly.
*Please baby, tell me.* AJ said moving closer to her.
*It was Chris.* Meg said.
*As in the Chris that cheated on you?* AJ asked.
*Yeah, he moved down here and he called me up and I invited him over.* Meg said sighing as if she was disappointed in herself.
*Well what happened?* AJ asked, looking at her face seriously.
*We talked.* Meg said and AJ kept looking at her as if he were waiting for her to say something else. *AJ we're not even friends he cheated on me and even if I wasn't married and happy with you I wouldn't be with him because he hurt me. I love you and you're the only one I need to make me happy.* Meg explained.
*Yeah Meagan, but I know what he wants. You're beautiful and sweet and you know he's gonna want to hook up with you.* AJ explained.
